Conference Topics

Thursday AM Session: Evaluation-Driven Deep System Change: A powerful case example from education

This session provides a case study on how evaluative thinking and real-time evaluative monitoring are system change levers. This case study demonstrates how applied and practical evaluation strategies document systems change and its impact on the future of young people. This session is of particular interest to evaluators and those in the field of educational leadership.

Thursday PM Session: The Rubric Revolution: How to ask the right questions and answer them evaluatively

This session is based on the idea that evaluation is all about asking and answering explicitly evaluative questions about "what" are the results, "how good" are they, and how do we know. This session will lead the audience in how to write a killer set of high-level questions to drive and frame your entire evaluation. We will also review how and why rubrics are such a great tool to answer those questions. This session will be an interactive demonstration with questions answered throughout.

Registration for Thursday includes breakfast and lunch
